The Hoi An Basket Boat tour takes you to the Cam Thanh Coconut Forest, just 5 kilometers from the ancient town. You will sit in a round bamboo boat, a traditional vessel used by Vietnamese fishermen. Paddling through the lush nipa palm canals, you can experience a peaceful countryside vibe and watch the amazing “boat-spinning” performances by talented locals. It is a fun and interactive experience for travelers of all ages.

C. Useful Tips
- Boat Spinning: If you want a thrill, ask your rower to do the “spinning” (múa thúng). It is very exciting but be prepared to get a little dizzy! Don’t forget to tip the performer a small amount (20,000 - 50,000 VND) if you enjoy the show.
- Sun Protection: The forest area can be very sunny. The rowers will provide traditional conical hats (Non La), but you should also bring sunscreen and sunglasses.
- Activities: Along the way, you can try traditional crabbing (using a small rod) or watch locals throw large fishing nets into the river.
- Best Time: The afternoon (around 03:00 PM - 04:30 PM) is the best time as the weather is cooler and the light is perfect for photos.
